The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) has recognized Madagascar as a “safe” destination and has validated the hygiene protocols specific to the tourism industry, developed in 2020 by the National Tourist Office of Madagascar (ONTM), on behalf of the Ministry of Tourism and in partnership with the Confederation of Tourism of Madagascar (CTM).
Following the example of the 400 destinations declared “safe” by the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) throughout the world, Madagascar has taken a new step in the revival of tourism. For travellers, the Safe Travels Stamp is an important criterion in the choice of their future destination.
